General disability

Are you entitled to compensation? Through the Mitziti company, all compensation comes directly to you

All that's left for you is to open a case:

Those who have been ill or injured, physically or mentally, from a condition that developed or from a congenital condition, who are found to meet all of the following conditions, are entitled to a general disability pension from the age of 18 until retirement age:

  1. Israeli resident.

  2. No income or income lower than 60% of the average salary, NIS 6,331 (as of January 1, 2020).

  3. He was determined to be medically disabledweightedof 60% or 40% in the case where the disability percentage of one of the defects is at least 25%. (detail what medical disability is)

  4.  He was determined to be unable to work or his ability to earn has decreased by at least 50%, and he was assigned a degree of incapacity in one of these rates: 60%, 65%, 74% or 100%. (specify what disability is in these degrees)

Of the four conditions mentioned, two are the ones that will determine in the medical and functional aspect whether a disability allowance will be received: determination of weighted medical disability and determination of loss of earning capacity and function. 

eligibility conditions

A full monthly allowance of 3,700 NIS for those who have been determined to have a degree of total disability of 75%-100%

A partial monthly allowance of 2,522 NIS for those who have been determined to have a degree of partial disability of 74%

A partial monthly allowance of NIS 2,273 for those who have been determined to have a degree of partial disability of 65%

A partial monthly allowance of NIS 2,135 for those who have been assigned a degree of partial disability of 60%

The amount of the allowance

The amount of the supplement for the children is according to the degree of incapacity determined for you:

Full rank (100% or 75%) - the amount of the supplement is NIS 954.

Partial rank at the rate of 74% - the amount of the supplement is NIS 706.

Partial rank at the rate of 65% - the amount of the supplement is NIS 620.

Partial rank at the rate of 60% - the amount of the supplement is NIS 572.

Supplement for children

Effect of non-work income on the amount of the allowance

If you have income not from work (such as from a pension, rent, stipend, other allowances from the National Insurance or other sources, profits from investments) and you are entitled to an allowance for a spouse and/or children - it will be reduced_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ from the supplement due to you for your spouse and/or children the entire amount of income not from work.

In any case, the allowance that will be paid to you after the reduction will be in the amount of a full monthly allowance at least - NIS 3,700.

Please note, alimony paid by the father for children is not reduced from the supplement for children in the mother's disability allowance.

However, alimony that is paid for the mother is considered as non-work income, and is deducted from the allowance for the children.

Impact of non-work income

The amount of the supplement for a spouse is according to the degree of incapacity determined for you:

Full rank (100% or 75%) - the amount of the supplement is NIS 1,192.

Partial rank at the rate of 74% - the amount of the supplement is NIS 882.

Partial rank at the rate of 65% - the amount of the supplement is NIS 775.

Partial rank at the rate of 60% - the amount of the supplement is NIS 715.
